I’m gonna put notes here for myself. If it helps others, GREAT!
Physical Setup of the Mediator:
8MB Jumper
No other jumpers set
PCI0: Radeon 9250 128MB
PCI1: Empty
PCI2: Soundblaster 128
PCI3: Spider USB
PCI4:RTL8129 Network Card
PCI5: VIA SATA/IDE RAID Card
Spider USB Setup
Make sure the Radeon RTG is configured! Picasso is setup. The Radeon doesn’t need to display, it just needs to be in use in Picasso
This means, no Pistorm RTG is suppose.
Install PoseidonĀ 4.5, no extra controllers.
Reboot
Start Trident and go offline
Open Shell and type:
AddUSBHardware DEVS:USBHardware/spider.device 2
AddUSBHardware DEVS:USBHardware/spider.device 0
AddUSBHardware DEVS:USBHardware/spider.device 1
Then you can open Trident. Should be fine
CDROM Setup
When using EMU68 Imager, there is no scsi.device. So use IDEFIX for this
I have an 4xIDE adapter from Amigakit, so I installed that too
AmiCDFS will be the filesystem
I edited the original CD0 and replaced L:CDFilesystem with L:AmiCDFS
Use FindDevice in IDEFIX to see where the CD is at.
edit cd0 information and replace device with: scsi.device (if it isnt yet) and set unit=x, where x is the result from the FindDevice tool from IDEFIX.
VIA SATA/IDE RAID Card
I’ve attached a minisata cdrom to it. copied CD0 to CD2, and did the rest.
However for device it should be pcisata.device
Cdrom is not recognized tho. Disc says it’s unreadable š (FOLLOW UP LATER)
Soundblaster 128
From the original Mediator CD, go to Sound and install.
It should install mixer in prefs
Also Install AHI from the CD
